Alberto Hurtado University
We partner with Universidad Alberto Hurtado (UAH) to enhance its educational mission and strengthen its connection with society by creating spaces that promote learning, foster encounters, and care for the environment.
Together, we work on infrastructure and landscape projects that enhance the university’s cultural heritage, enhance campus life, and reflect the Jesuit and humanistic principles of education, which aim to serve the common good.
Our collaboration also focuses on research and innovation, generating studies and data on the link between green infrastructure, social well-being, and ecological sustainability. This work advances knowledge that connects human development with ecosystem health.
Through:
- The design, planning, and improvement of the university’s infrastructure to enhance its heritage value and university life.
- Generate research, studies, and data on the impact of green infrastructure on the social well-being and sustainability of human communities and the ecosystems they inhabit.
- Develop the Transformative Nature program, in which we seek to create an educational model for education in and with nature.

“Every profession must be conceived not only as a means of earning a living, of improving one’s economic situation, of paving a future for one’s children, but also as the exercise of a social mission and a contribution to the common good of society.”
Saint Alberto Hurtado
The Cosmos Foundation’s commitment to Alberto Hurtado University has always been linked to its ongoing support of the educational project that this institution fosters and promotes. Thus, we have developed academic, landscape, and architectural work that nourishes university life, preserves its heritage, and supports the generation of knowledge for the regeneration of the relationship between human beings and nature.
