Nature-based planning
We advocate for urban and territorial planning that respects the natural characteristics of each location, emphasizing the importance of water, soil, vegetation, and biodiversity. Our approach integrates ecological, cultural, and social aspects to enhance resilience and well-being, while promoting the regeneration of natural systems and harmonious cities and landscapes.
Through:
- Promote urban and territorial planning based on a bioregional context.
- Generate spaces that contribute to mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
- Create parks and meeting places, promoting connection with nature.
- Design accessible infrastructure for public access to natural areas.
- Collaborate with municipalities and territorial governments in urban planning.

“Landscape design should be a catalyst for social change and urban regeneration,”
Kate Orff
Urban natural areas, such as parks and plazas, represent the most direct and close contact with nature that city dwellers have. Every natural area brings a series of benefits to communities: they are spaces for family recreation, reflection, leisure, sports, culture, and health. Natural areas are also the traditional meeting point for neighbors, where the social fabric and interpersonal relationships that generate identity and a sense of belonging in a territory are built.
