The Cosmos Foundation held a series of participatory workshops at the Maipo River Wetland Nature Sanctuary to collect and validate content that will be part of the project to install an interactive museum display with urban-scale graphics and signage in the province of San Antonio.

Funding for this initiative comes from the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation’s Public Science Program, which seeks to promote the sharing of knowledge through meaningful interactions and experiences in various everyday spaces. The National Audubon Society, a U.S. organization dedicated to nature conservation, also joined this initiative, providing resources to develop an interactive panel on migratory birds in the park. Additionally, the Coastal Observatory, the Chilean Bird Watchers Network, Wheel the World, TAITA, the Boca del Maipo Fishermen’s Union, and the Santa María del Mar Wildlife Sanctuary (JJVV) will be supporting the project’s validation process.
