El Mercurio de Valparaíso | New section of walkways inaugurated in the Maipo River Wetland Park

With the presence of Mayor Dino Lotito, representatives of the Provincial Presidential Delegation of San Antonio and the Cosmos Foundation, a new section of elevated walkways was inaugurated this Thursday in the Río Maipo Wetland Park , as part of the celebrations for World Wetlands Day. The structure, which measures 200 meters long, will connect the Zarapito Lookout – inaugurated last year on this date – with the Pilpilén Lookout. This project, which was financed through the President of the Republic Social Fund, in addition to a municipal subsidy, is part of a future plan that seeks to ensure that the park has universal accessibility on its main trails, thus allowing a better connection for people with disabilities with nature.
