Park rangers of the Maipo River Wetland receive training in bird-watching

Santo Domingo, November 19, 2015 – Under a beautiful blue sky and hundreds of birds flying around, a day of training in bird-watching was held for the park rangers of the Maipo River Wetland Nature Park. The activity was carried out by Gonzalo González and attended by Emilio, Joaquín, Mariana and Claudio, who were able to deepen their knowledge on the birds that inhabit the Maipo River Wetland, and learn about the best strategies to observe them.

Increasing numbers of visitors – both individuals and in groups – who visit the Nature Park are guided by the park rangers to learn about the various components of this ecosystem, within which birds are one of the most outstanding features.
