Our work with the Universidad Alberto Hurtado (UAH) is the continuation of the work begun by Don Alberto Hurtado Fuenzalida years ago, who was motivated by his commitment to the values and educational project of the institution.
The UAH is a private non-profit university founded in 1997 by the Compañia de Jesús, with the idea of offering an educational project to the country that was based on the 450-year-old Jesuit tradition which includes 200 higher education institutions worldwide. It was conceived as an entity that welcomes and integrates students from different socioeconomic strata, due to its location in the central axis of Santiago.
What do we do?
We are committed to the educational project of the UAH and with the enormous patrimonial values of the houses that make up its campus. In this context, we signed a Cooperation Agreement with this institution a few years ago. The idea has been to help them recover spaces and infrastructure in poor condition, and/or enhance the architectural value of some of their houses, with the objective of providing students with an ideal environment for the development of a university life.
